A lion with a golden sun radiating mane, an eagle hidden behind autumn leaves, a wolf trembling gently under an icy crown, and a horse dressed in flowers, reminiscent of Arcimboldo’s famous painting… Pierre Marie reinterprets the imagery of the four seasons, each represented by a personified fantasy animal, like a rich and natural anthem. The inspiration for the costumes of the divine beast comes from the costumes designed by Henry de Gissey for the ballet “Ballet Les Fetes de Bacchus” in the 17th century and for the Russian ballet in the early 1920s. This Baroque style gorgeous square scarf pays tribute to the river of time.
